I wasn’t sure what to write about today for a tip. And then, I was woken up at 4:40 AM by my 2 year old. At 6:11 AM, my 4 year old made his way downstairs. Believe me, I thought of a tip!
Get a basket and fill it with baggies and/or small containers full of breakfast foods. This could be granola bars, cereal, dried fruit, etc. Then, before bed, fill up a glass full of milk and/or juice and stick it in the fridge and their level. When they come downstairs, they can grab their own breakfast and drink. If your little one can turn on the tv, at night before you go to bed, turn the channel to a kid friendly one so all they have to do is turn it on. Even if this buys you twenty minutes of sleep…it’s still twenty minutes of sleep. Now, excuse me while I start my third cup of coffee…
