What do you do to keep yourself sane? Read a book? Exercise? Get a massage? I’d like to hear some stories.
I’m sort of boring, I guess. I honestly revel in the fact that I can sometimes go grocery shopping by myself! I get to walk up and down every isle without saying, “Come on. Keep up. Stop pushing. No, no sugary cereal.” You get the picture. I often will purchase coffee or chocolate milk (that I don’t have to share!) and drink it while shopping. Sound silly? It keeps me sane!
Honestly, another sane keeper for me is my mommy websites. Mommy’s Getaway and Babyfit have been lifelines for me. I work from home so I need some sort of socialization. This is great! I get to vent, get advice, give advice and just hear stories from other moms.





My sane tactic is a hot bath and if I’m super spoiled – a fantastic book to lose myself in.
